Performance tells us the story!

The New YZF R15 v3 is powered by all new 155cc liquid cooled engine. The single cylinder, four valve engine delivers a maximum power output of 19bhp at 10,000rpm and a peak torque output of 15Nm at 8,500rpm. The transmission is taken care by 6-speed manual gearbox with quick shifter and slipper clutch. The performance achieved by the engine is also due to its electronic fuel injection system which gives quick response to the throttle and also during revs.

Built-up quality.

The New YZF R15 v3 has deltabox frame as like its predecessor R15 v2. But the fuel tank is instead made up of fibre this time to reduce the Net weight of the vehicle. The welding doesn’t looks satisfying in some of the places, namely near the visor. With the sleek and sharper aerodynamic design with improved riding position, broad rear tires YZF R15 V3 dominates the 150cc segment.

Technically speaking.

The YZF R15 V3 comes with VVA technology, which make it to stand out in the crowd. The VVA is a mechanism that is used to actuate the Cams present in the cylinder.

The company claims that new YAMAHA R15 V3 gets 18 % more power and a 4.7% increase in fuel efficiency, with a slight 3% increase in engine displacement.

The YZF R15 v3 comes with Slipper clutch and also with 2 channel ABS. The tank capacity is 11 litres which is a compromising value for a highway freak. With decent mileage of 38 kmpl to 40kmpl in city and 45 kmpl to 48kmpl in highway sounds yeaaaaaah.

The bike comes with all new electronic setup like fully digital instrument cluster with gear shift indicating light, Dual LED Headlights and LED Tail lamps.

The bike missed out USD folks like in international version but equipped with telescopic front suspension. In rear, an aluminium swing arm is mounted to the monoshock suspension. The tyres are from MRF and comes with a broader rear tyres this time.
